DAYBREAK

This Christmas season has proved to be one of the more difficult ones for the patients I am treating in my practice. Tragedy, pain, and loneliness cling and cover hope, oppressive, like a blanket. Nights are long and deep and the day is short.

And while there seems to be no end or no relief in sight, know this,

today: I carry it with you.

I urge you, take heaven. Take peace.

And receive my prayer for you– that your day breaks and the shadows flee,

now, and forever.
